PITCH:
3lob is a 2.5D puzzle/platformer game, in which you play as a shape-shifting slime locked in a laboratory.
Try to escape using the 3 forms of 3lob:
-
"Sticky": can stick to ceilings and walls, especially those in the background
-
"Bouncy": can pulse to jump further, bounces off walls, and is significantly affected by fans
-
"Solid": can stomp to fall at very high velocity, break fragile platforms, and resist fans.

PRODUCTION
This project was my first one with game programmers, and thus allowed me to better understand their problems.
Each Game Designer had to create a level with ProBuilder (a 3D modeling plugin for Unity), and all of them had to be mid-game levels, of equivalent difficulty, lasting about 2 minutes for a player already familiar with the game.
I designed and integrated level 5 which is focused on the use of fans and their different interactions with 3lob. I chose to make a very spaced-out level, alternating horizontality and verticality, in order to deliver a fluid, varied and dynamic experience to the player. I also decided to use depth in the most consistent way possible, to make the level immersive.
At the same time, I was in charge of the research and creation of the sounds and music of the game. However, the integration of some sounds was a problem for the game programmers, and we preferred to have them focused on the gameplay and fixing major bugs rather than on the sound integration.
